20/4/2019

Picture
Last week, Avalon has presented the results of its study about the consequences of a large-scale conversion to organic farming. This study was commissioned by the three Northern Netherlands Provinces: Fryslân, Groningen and Drenthe. Their policy makers wanted to get a deeper insight about what the expected consequences of a potential large-scale conversion to organic farming could bring to society in the Northern Netherlands, notably in terms of economy, environment and human health.

The full report (in Dutch) can be found here.
The summary in English can be found here.
A Slideshow presentation about the report, which was also used to explain the results to the policy makers of the Provinces, can be found here.
